Collective Microwave Resource Centre
CCRM is an association governed by French 1901 Act, which gathers together industrialists and university workers in the PACA region; it benefits from a dead room / screened room dedicated to both fine metrology in hyperfrequency and EMC testings. These tools enable us to meet the needs of the SME/SMIs in the region, which are faced with new European standard constraints concerning electromagnetic protection, as well as the needs of telecommunication and RFID companies.
Located in a part of IUSTI premises (Polytech'Marseille), CCRM belongs to the High-Tech centres network in the PACA region.
As soon as it was created in 2000, POPsud put the emphasis on the "mutualised platforms" linking fundamental research to businesses. To date, our region is home to a dozen platforms that can be used by photonics industrialists.
The mission of the OPTOsud association, which was created in 2009, is to implement and develop the scientific and high-tech equipment shared and labelled by the competitive cluster, and to promote mutualisation of the existing products towards the industry sector.
Developed by the OPTITEC cluster, the OPTOPOLIS project offers another model of development of these platforms, which is not limited to a mere material and equipment mutualisation, but also includes technological and industrial actions related to this equipment, by means of training sessions, international workshops, R&D projects...
High-Power photonics: Interaction and new components
This national and international platform of expertise has 2 missions: to meet industrial needs by taking part in the development of technologies and new components, and to improve the understanding of laser-matter interaction phenomena.

POLARIS
Aspherical optics platform for the giant telescopes of the future
The POLARIS platform (POLishing Active and Robotic Integrated System), labelled by the OPTITEC cluster as of 2006, allows for the manufacture of highly aspherical, wide diameter optics (up to 2.5 m) while saving much time in the manufacturing process.
Description : robotised polishing and active optics
Target market or sectors : astronomy, space
Leading organisation : LAM - SESO

Micro- and nano-optical component platform
This platform is run by the Provence Institute of Nanoscience Microelectronics Materials (IM2NP) to carry out research projects in photovoltaics and optoelectronics, in association with industrial and university partners.
Description : micro- and nano-optical components
Target market or sectors : : Communication, biotechnology, optoelectronics, photovoltaics.

INOVSYS Platform
The INOVSYS Partnership Platform is led by the PEGASE competitive cluster and jointly labelled by the CapEnergies cluster. It focuses on the region’s identified industrial needs and on the university partners’ skills. The field of Engineering and advanced processes for the prototyping of complex systems (INOVSYS) has therefore been adopted to federate four fields of competencies:
The partnership platform's main mission is to keep the PACA region at the top of the key skills and technologies in the four above mentioned fields. These skills will enable SMEs either to maintain a strong advantage in some scientific and technological niches, or to federate together to improve their subcontracting level, thus meeting the expectations of the major customers in a more comprehensive manner.
