ECONOMIC INTELLIGENCE LOCAL CLUB (CLIE)

A group of professionals in economic intelligence and innovation implemented in July 2004 and monitored by the management of the Marseille Provence Technology Park in Château-Gombert, the Technology Park Managers’ Club, Marseille Innovation and the GERSIC-LVIC laboratory (Paul Cézanne University).
• Awareness raising and initiation of the local actors toward information control and protection (thematic breakfast sessions).
• Customised follow-up of incubating companies by Marseille Innovation’s economic intelligence cell.
• Watch over the innovation policies of French and international territories.

CLUB PROVENCE BUSINESS ANGELS (PBA)

Provence Business Angels is an associative club of private investors.
It belongs to the France Angels network and has been labelled by the SME and Trade Ministry. Its mission aims to support local economic development via financing creation initiating and takeover of high-potential companies. This is mainly translated in the Business Angels being connected with project bearers.
The club comprises some fifty members who wish to invest and put a lot of effort into the region’s companies.
Its investment capacity amounts to 3 million euros. Its members originating from various complementary professional backgrounds are entrepreneurs and senior executives.
They offer to the project bearers a financial and human investment via coaching, advice and access to business relation networks. Provence Business Angels is open to all fields of activity and is interested in projects related to the creation, development, and takeover of innovative companies with high potentialities.
Every month, 2 to 4 entrepreneurs are selected to be introduced to the business angels.
