Mixed activity centre next to Micromega
Larzard Promotion has been selected for the building of 5,000 m2 of offices and laboratories for sale and rent next to Micromega (street Paul Langevin). This programme will be fully delivered in June 2008.
Technology Building 2: Technoptic Building
Within the scope of the assistance to competitivemess centre "Photonic: Optics and Imaging Complex Systems", the Urban Community has planned to erect by early 2009 in the Baronne sector a second Technology Building bearning the name of Technoptic Building (3,300 sqm) dedicated to optics-photonics related firms.
Objective: the hosting of new companies being created and developed. This scheme will be managed by the Marseille Innovation business nursery.
These amenities will also accommodate a shared technology resource centre managed by POPsud.
Higher Education and Research
OAMP establishment
Establishment of the Marseille Provence Astronomy Laboratory and its main componant the Marseille Astrophysics Laboratory (LAM) on 10,000 m2. Over 150 engineers and researchers are involved. The building works is scheduled by may 2008.
Polytech’ Marseille
School extension within the scope of the construction of a 2,500 m2 building, together with the layout of a mechanical blower in a new 1,500 m2 building.
Ecole Centrale Marseille
Engineering school merging within ECM in the Mediterranean Institute of Technology, as well as in a 2,500 m2 extension yet to be built on the MIT's site.

Parc Athéna
A landscaped leisure park located along the Albert Einstein way, the Parc Athéna will cover 12 hectares. Delivery scheduled by 2008.

Services to inhabitants
Student housing
There are three student housing projects.
One 130-unit private programme is being set up with Réside Etudes. A second one is being set up with Sogima (social housing) for the construction of 150 units. The work for these two programmes will commence in 2007.Their delivery is scheduled in 2008.
A third, more social programme is being studied with the Crous.
